TOUCH A HEART 2017

In April 2017, EELIT organized a meaningful initiative with the assistance of several Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs). Together, they packed and distributed 100 goodie bags containing toiletries and non-perishable food items to less fortunate families residing in Chai Chee Estate.

It was a remarkable experience as the MDWs enthusiastically participated in charity work for the first time. They were delighted to contribute and some even expressed their willingness to chip in funds to purchase the items for the goodie bags.

The distribution process was carried out diligently by the MDWs, who went from floor to floor and door to door to ensure that every household received a goodie bag. This effort brought warmth and smiles to many households within the community.

The day proved to be immensely fulfilling as EELIT and the MDWs worked together to make a positive impact. By providing essential items and showing compassion, they were able to bring joy and support to less fortunate families in Chai Chee Estate.
